We had gotten
two Lava Hot Springs passes from ISU last summer which were going to expire on
May 14 so we decided to take the afternoon and go. We took Matt and Joshua (Parkinson) with
us. It was such a nice day. The pools were very warm, even the coolest
one. We moved from pool to pool and had
a nice relaxing day talking to each other.
Bob (my
brother) has been taking antibiotics because some prostate numbers (PSA) are
really high. They are supposed to be below
4 and his are 117.7. They tried the
antibiotics to see if it was an infection but the numbers are up like 20 since
2 weeks ago. The Doctor is out of town
so he can’t do a biopsy until next Tuesday, (Bob has to be put under with
anesthesia because he has a small sphincter or something and it would be too
painful) but it doesn’t look good. I was
glad I hadn’t mentioned it to Josh while at Lava because Bob called and told
him while we were on the way home.
